We just did the same thing on our AIX box to merge with another network. A new License Key was NOT required.
Thanks David.
Regarding your questions/commments last week…
We do NOT have a C Compiler loaded. Working on resolving that issue. We DO have a copy of Perl loaded outside of the Cloverleaf imbedded version. And, Matt was using the CPAN module. Hopefully, with the C Compiler installation we can resolve the Math module issue and get things going!
Thanks for your help!
When first attempting to run my perl script and use the Net::SFTP command, it reported back that it needs the Net::SSH module. Hence our load of both modules into the Cloverleaf imbedded perl version. It was also listed as a dependency on searh.cpan.org
The screen shot I provided may have been Matt’s attempt to manually resolve earlier errors in the install of the Math module.
In order to get the SFTP and SSH modules loaded he had to change some file paths. I suppose I should let him post his questions/steps instead of acting as middle-man to get resolution for our issues.
Thanks for your reply!
David,
I don’t know if we have a C compiler installed. (I don’t know as much at the server level as I would like.) I’ve queried my server administrator to find out.
My co-worker, Matt, did the perl Makefile.PL. He also used CPAN.
Matt is not here today and is most familiar with what he had to do to get SSH and SFTP installed.
Does installing a C compiler and a copy of Perl outside of the Cloverleaf install require engine or server downtime?
Thanks for your reply!
We were able to get the SSH and SFTP modules installed. However, we are now receiving an error regarding the MATH::PARI.PM module. So, we attempted to install it and are now getting errors when installing this module. (Please see the screen shot I’ve attached.)
Please help if you have encountered a similar issue installing modules to the Cloverleaf perl location.
We are trying to SFTP files to the State of Indiana for MU Stage 2 Attestation would like to use Perl to do it.
Thanks for any help!
Apparently if multiple studies are acknowledged at the same time by the techs on the Philips system, the delay only applies to the first message in the batch and not individual studies.
My original search criteria wasn’t finding any hits, but I’ve since found multiple posts regarding this issue and have decided to use a tps proc with a sleep time in it . I have isolated the thread in it’s own process and will see if that resolves the issue without holding up other messages and other systems.
Thanks for your responses!
We have 3 production sites running 87 threads. One full time programmer/analyst working with Cloverleaf that also does some iSeries programming. Although we have 4 other iSeries programmer/analysts/web developers on staff, they do not do Cloverleaf work.
For the most part, I feel like I’m capable of keeping up.
David & Vince, Well, I finally got it to work. The configuration is no different than any of my other FTP’s to the iSeries. The only thing I can think of was some type of corruption existed. I deleted it and rebuilt it and now it’s working!
Thanks for your suggestions!
David: I thought I had tried the library.file.member format before I posted my question originally, but thought I would test it again. My attempt today to use that format resulted in the following message:
[fset:cont:ERR /0: CHF_db_out1] FTP command ‘APPE intraapps.chfpatient.chfpatient
‘ failed: ‘501 Unknown extension in database file name.
‘
I believe I read in another post when I was researching the issue, that Cloverleaf thinks that anything longer than 3 chars after the “.” is invalid. I tried file.member and that also fails.
Vince:
The file I am writing to is new with only a few records in it. I have not reached the 10K limit yet.
If you have any other suggestions, I’m willing to try them!
Thanks!
I’d like to hear about any updates regarding AIX 5.3 as well. Thanks!
September 8, 2005 at 5:40 pm in reply to: McKesson Series – inbound ADT – your feedback please #57223We are utilizing the inbound ADT feed with Series. We’re still in the testing phase for PHS/HSM and scheduled to go live in October. There’s concerns and a lot of training to be done with the users. Our surgery scheduling areas will be doing a lot more data entry than what was previously required of them and I think our registration department is a little nervous about someone else doing what they usually do! We’re on Series 9.0
If you’d like more info, feel free to call me.
