We are testing 6.1 and are experiencing the same error. Did you determine the cause?
May 14, 2013 at 7:26 pm in reply to: Output to Windows folder from an AIX server – Cloverleaf 5.8 #78459We use PROTOCOL:filesetftp to FTP each message in its own file to the windows server.
We are on AIX with CL5.8
Use “DBCMD timeout 10000” to retry for 10000 milliseconds if/when database is locked.
We were having this issue until we increased the ulimit value for memory.
Jennifer, We have the following systems.
McKesson SERIES for our HIS
McKesson HMM for pharmacy
PYXIS for dispensing machines
HMM feeds the ADT to both ConnectRX and Pyxis. We have had no problems with this setup for ConnectRX ( I justed verified that with our Pharmacy dept).
Doug Essner
We have HOM interfaced with McKesson SERIES HIS – ADT and all orders
SOFT Lab – lab orders (path,bb,micro, gen lab)
IDX Radiology – radiology orders
CBORD Food Serv- dietary orders
PICIS Emerg Dept – lab, radiology, cardiology,EEG,?
PENRAD womancare orders
ChartScript – transcription
The difficulty for us was
1. Routing order messages to the correct systems
2. If ancillary system (IDX, Soft, etc) sends cancel or status change to HOM, HOM doesn’t forward – you must copy original to other ancillary systems.
would version 11 be of any use? Charlie, Thanks for pointing out the hl7RawAck – that is what we want – minimal message checking.
You’ve comfirmed what we thought was the solution. We were hoping to get around the building of new message formats. Thanks for you advice. The interface is between McKesson HMM and HCI Carelink and the messages are HL7. The ERROR messages that we are seeing in the process log are “Invalid message type RGV^O01” and “Invalid message type “RDE^O01”. I made the assumption that since _HCI_static_route_ doesn’t care about the message type that these errors were generated by the HL7 reply proc. Do I need the HL7 replay proc? We solved this problem by changing the TCP keep alive(tcp_keepidle) on the 2 systems that were dropping the connections with our Cloverleaf server. Both servers had a very short keep alive (2 minutes) – we set this to the default value of 2hours and our problems went away. That is not a problem. I have used the mkcd command (mkcd -R -S -L -e -I /dvdimage )
to create a mksysb image file. Then I copy the mksysb image file to my pc and burn to a DVD. I have booted and installed from this DVD.
I am quite happy to see your comments even if you were venting. Information/education is key to making good decisions. Any chance that you You guys sure a defensive group!! Maybe instead of saying in so many words that my goal was to prove that interfacing was bad My need more specifically is to find a hospital that has the PICIS Emergency Dept system and the McKesson Expert Documentation (nursing) system. Then even more narrowly focused, do they pass medication information from PICIS to McKesson (Meds admisistered in ED flow/populate on inpatient MAR). We would also like to see Allergy data(Drug, Dye, Food) and type of reaction be passed from PICIS to McKesson. Even if you can’t help me with those specifics, anything that you can tell me concerning PICIS(any module) interface experiences would be appreciated.
