Sadly, on Windows with the older version of Cloverleaf, there is no fast solution.  We were running 5.4.1 on Windows until we upgraded last year and had extensive issues with DB Vista -921 errors.  In that environment, the only solution is the hard one.

After upgrading to version 5.7 (and I’m not trying to sound like a commercial here) we have had very few issues with the DB Vista errors, and when they do occur they are easily cleared up with the hcilmclear command, which is now available to Windows.

A version upgrade is not a quick fix, but if it is within your means at all you should consider it.

Thanks for responses folks.  Turns out there was no PID for that particular process and there was a DB Vista -921 error besides.  We shut everything down, did the site cleanup and all seems well now.  It just struck me as very odd that messages were being processed even though the process was down and had no PID.

But ours is not to reason why…
