I am going to suppress a message based on the test code that is in the OBX3.1. Even if there are multiple OBX’s only one has to match then send it else, suppress. I am wanting to put this at the beginning of xlate to cut out any un needed work but am not sure how this will work with an iterate. I have an iterate set at the bottom of the xlate of the OBX’s but will this work by having this at the top? I have attached my xlate and table.

    thanks for any ideas.

I would put the filter in a pre-proc. An xlate runs through all of it’s logic regardless of SUPPRESS statements. Putting the filter in pre-proc will minimize the overhead on the engine.
