Wildcard routing ?

Hi All,

I am trying to setup Wildcard routing but I am encountering a small flaw.

I have created a Route Message with the name ADT_A(0[1-8])|(1[1-3]).

I have set the Wildcard option .

I have added the route detail which uses the XLT called X_Star_Endo_ADT.xlt

When I Test an A04 or A08 message part of the Message Type is dropped within the MSH segment.

ie ADT;A08 ends up with only ADT.

I always thought with Wildcards we could use a single XLT.

What could I be missing ?

  Apparently I was not copying the subfield in the XLT itself. Duh!!
