VMWare sizing

We are moving to using VMWare and CL 5.7 on RH 5.1

I’m looking for some input on the sizing (i.e. number of CPUs, memory…) to apply to the VM.

We send outbound approximately 1 million messages a day ..

(if you need some other numbers .. just ask .. I find outbound volume a good predictor for sizing… )

Anyone using VMWare, care to share their volume and sizing?…

    Thanks

    Dennis

We’re moving it to it’s own “LUN” as we seemed to be having an I/O issue at times. Haven’t really got to the bottom of it yet.
