Being new to the HTTP environment I have a couple of questions.

    I hope someone has answers.

I was wonder if anyone is using the http function now in cloverleaf to login to a site, pull the file list down and retrive those files using these funcions.

I have no doubt it will take lots of code. But before I begin I just wanted to know if it was a feasable thing to do ? And if anyone else was doing it.

John I recommend you take a look at TclCurl (which we ship with CL, starting in 5.5 I believe)

      http://personal1.iddeo.es/andresgarci/tclcurl/english/

package require TclCurl and go from there

TclCurl is much more robust and flexible than the http* commands provided in earlier releases.
