Ever since the time changed this past Sunday morning, I have noticed that the time displayed from the Network Monitor thread status screen is an hour behind. The OS time and the message timestamp is correct. I am on version 5.3. I did not stop any threads, processes, daemons or the  hostserver prior to the time change, although have since bounced the hostserver. Anyone else experienced this that may have a resolution?

    Thanks.

You probably need to update the java version to 1.3.1_20.  For my windows client, I am running java 1.3.1_20 build 03.  Also, I am running Fedora 8 and the time for it is an hour behind.  So for my linux boxes, I believe it’s 1.3.1_09

What OS are you running your client on?

      Cloverleaf 5.3 Rev.2; HP-UX B.11.11; Java 1.3.1

On the Cloverleaf NetMonitor GUI, it shows one hour behind.  Date timestamp on the OS shows the correct time.  Don’t know what I need to do here to get the NetMonitor to show the correct time.

      Thanks in advance.

I’m going to assume that is what you are running on the server side.

I need to know what OS you are running on your client side (the OS that is running to view Network Monitor). Is it still HP-UX or is Windows XP?

If you are using XP, I can just zip up my java folder within the clgui folder and try to get it to you some how.  If not, then I won’t be able to help with it.

      Austin,

Thanks for the reply.  That was my server configuration.

For the client, I’m running Win XP; Java 1.3.1_09.

So I need to upgrade Java on my client up to 1.3.1_20?

      Thanks.

Yes, you wll need to upgrade the java version that is under the clgui folder, not for the entire OS.

For me, my java folder is located at c:quovadxqdx5.3integratorclgui

I do not remember how I upgraded mine.  I think I installed java 1.3.1_20 or a patch, replaced the java folder with what java folder that got created, and then just uninstalled it.

If I remember correctly, there are some other posts in this forum that stated how other people did it. If you do a search on DST, you should get a few hits.

As always, be sure you have a backup of that java folder before replacing it..

I suggest making a copy of the entire quovadx folder on your XP box. It’s about 100MB total.

Let me know if I can do a better job of explaining things.  It won’t offend me at all.

      Austin,

Thank You very much for your reply.  I remember reading about these DST posts last year. I remember installing the patch on server side but didn’t have to do anything on the client side for java… probably because I had a brand new laptop with latest version running I think.  That was last year at the old gig.  I’m at the new gig now using different version of CL… and the new guy gets the oldest desktop…

My bad, I should have searched for the archived before posting for help.  All is good now.

      Thanks again.
