Threads and processes thresholds per site

Does anyone know what the limit/threshold is for the number of threads and processes are allowed per one site?

Wendy,

There is no “hard and fast” limit on the number of threads/processes per site.  It really is a matter of system resources and manageability of a given site.  If you are seeing performance issues, then it’s a matter of trying to determine what may be causing the bottleneck and then deciding if it warrants breaking out some of the threads into a separate site.
