TCL CODE HELP – XML –>HL7

Hello.

Could anyone guide me on the right track on how to read in an xml file and convert to hl7 using tcl?  I am stuck on the parsing piece of this.

I know I need to take the header and put it in a globar; iterate over the element until the end of it and CONTINUE;

If you are to do in in Xlate you will need a schema or DTD.  If youwant to do it in Tcl here is an example proc I use in my classes that illustrates parsing XML using regular expressions
