still converting 2.4 to 2.1

Hi, I was just wondering something about xlate procs. Is it generally a bad idea to have a thread run more than one? For instance, my 2.4 ADT only handles 18 message types. Due to a lot of customs random Z segments I need to account for going from 2.4 to 2.1, I’m finding it easier to create an individual xlate for each message type. Then I figure I’ll connect all 18 individually to the route tab.

Is this a bad idea? I wonder if it’ll cause process issues, and of course, not to mention the support involved…

  That is the way we do it – individual Xlates even for ADT.
  
  I don’t think it presents any significant human hardship and I am not aware of any penalty in execution.
