SMATDB – Slow load times

Structure of configuration:
Each site has a smat_archive directory with a symbolic link at the exec level to the site’s databases per process

/cl/hci/cis6.2/integrator/sitename/exec/smat_archive -> /cl/logs/smat_archive/sitename

/cl/logs/smat_archive/sitename/process/database files

We currently have 14 days worth of data in the smat archive

It takes approx 2.5 mins to load and we were lo0king for any  input and advice on ways to speed up the load time

Would also like to add that we experimented with removing the symbolic link setup on a few sites, yet load times remain slow

On the client options try and set the JVM argument to 1G, I think the syntax is

-Xmx1024m

Thank you for your input, alas !! we attempted that but now the GUI won’t even start and isn’t even showing in active running processes.  Is there a way to revert this client setting through command line on a windows 10 box
