SMAT not opening files? Can open in another editor

I am having some weird issues with some of my message logs.  When I try and open them with SMAT it sits for a long time then stops and there are no messages to add to the view.  However, If I open the .msg file with another editor it opens up.  Anyone have this issue?

Im not sure if this is related but I am also not getting some of them to save messages at all unless I manually delete the IDX and MSG file.  It will recreate it and save for that day but that’s it.  I have to repeat the process for it to save again.  Thanks for any help.

Could it be that your files are too big?

Try opening a smaller file. (Save an hour’s worth, then cycle and open)

I believe the mystery is solved.  I may or may not have named 2 log files the same thing!   😡 Ooops!
