SMAT – Add specified messages

Can I choose my messages by a string that would be in the message?  For example I woul need to resend messages just for one physician.

Can I use Regular Expression?  How do I word it?

Contains, =, like  something like that.

Yes.  After you’ve loaded the SMAT file, there’s an option in the View menu to “Add Specified Messages to View”.  In the Select Messages dialog box, select “Include Those” for the Regular Expression option and you can enter the regexp pattern you’re looking for.   By selecting “Include Those”, you don’t have to do an == or ‘eq’ or contains, just the pattern.  If it’s in your HL7 message as |DocID^DocLast^DocFirst^^^|, the pattern just needs follow regexp rules, like:   |DocID^DocLast^DocFirst^^^|.
