SAN backup with Cloverleaf

Has anyone implemented SAN backup/redundent system with Cloverleaf? Any issues or concerns? What version is the best with Cloverleaf 5.x?

We have implemented here at Mercy utilizing HPUX HA systems for Cloverleaf and SAN. What information do you need?

We have done it using a SAN with AIX 5.3, Cloverleaf 5.3 rev1.  If you have specific questions, I can mediate a conversation between you and our SAN administrator who sits one cube over.

We have our production Cloverleaf discs on a SAN within an HACMP environment.

We have some (our own) ‘rc’ scripts that shutdown or startup all ‘active’ Cloverleaf sites – these existed before we used the SAN for normal host startup.

The startup scripts automatically perform a ‘crash reset’ in case we have an uncontrolled failover.

I would start be saying we are a large phsycian practice whose core business hours are M-F, 7-7 and Sa 8-2, with some MDs using the system remotely during the off hours.

We do not have HACMP installed ($$).
