RTF question.

Okay,  my head is swimming paging through all the OBX – RFT threads for a solution.  [cloverleaf 5.7, patch-2 on AIX]

I’m trying to ‘pass through’ the RTF data in an xlate.  It doesn’t seem to be working.  Do I need to do something to the inbound message for the included?

In HL7 the is an escape character.  Change to /

If you are trying to pass the data itself tou will need to Base-64 encode it

Found that doing a pathcopy then modifying other fields as needed works.

The OBX-5 data comes through just fine without encode/decode or other instructions applied.  Works for a simple pass-through of that ugly data.
