Revisions directory entries for HL/7, X12, EDIFACT, etc.

All,

We are on Cloverleaf 5.2.1 (P2 I think).

I have recently discovered there is no revisions directory entry for HL/7, X12, EDIFACT and I assume other non FRL, VRL, HRL message construct configuration files. Neither are there any .bak files.

Does anyone know if this is also true in 5.3?

It seems we are without a sometimes useful backup for these message constructs.

Sorry, this hasn’t changed.  5.3 (rev 0) doesn’t create revisions entries for the contructs you mentioned.

It looks like for 5.8 and 6.1 Cloverleaf still does not save HL7 variant changes in the revisions directory, is that true or a configuration issue ?

We are using AIX for our Cloverleaf.

We are on cloverleaf 6.0 and I did not see any revisions for HL7 formats but I did see some for VRLs under $HCISITEDIR/revisions/formats/variable.

Curious that some formats save revisions and others don’t appear to.

Had never noticed this, but indeed: Cloverleaf 6.0 (RHEL) doesn’t create revisions for HL7 formats as opposed to VRL/FRL. Must be because of the different layout (files and directories) of the HL7 formats whereas VRL/FRL is only one file.
