Retrieving a file via ftp then emailing the file to receiver

I have a request for a very different type of interface than anything else we have running right now.  I have been asked to have Cloverleaf retrieve a file from the sending system via ftp.  Once Cloverleaf has the file, Cloverleaf needs to email the file to the receiving system.  Has anyone done anything like this before?  Can Cloverleaf email a file?  What needs to be involved for Cloverleaf to ftp to a site?  I have not done this before and would like to get some help with it.

Yes cloverleaf can do this.

The inbound thread should be a simple FTP protocol.

The outbound will require some TCL. The option are up to you.

I would use UPoC for the email porton in the outbound thread.  I have not done this exact thing. But If you reaseach some of the many posting here about Email I sure you could steal one of them modify it a little and go.

I’m sure we could help more if we knew which OS you were using.
