Receiving system checking source IP address

Hi folks,

Cloverleaf 5.3 on AIX 5.6.

I’ve encountered a similar issue as this thread:

The suggested solution/workaround works by entering the service IP in the “Host Name or IP Address” field of the Protocol Properties.

But in the first place, is it Cloverleaf or the AIX OS that is inputing the physical machine IP in the packet? Other than the NetConfig workaround, are there other solutions?
