Rebooting 3.8.1

What is the process for rebooting version 3.8.1. and restarting its GUI server? Is it the same as the 5.x releases? I don’t have documentation for v3.8.1.

  Here are the steps I follow for the 3.8.1 reboot:
  
  1. Shutdown all processes in production.
  
  2. Shutdown Netmonitor and Lock Manager.
  
  3. Open shell window and login.
  
  4. Stop the HOSTSERVER

  Beware, because steps 7-9 do not need to be done if you just wanted to stop and start up the engine. These are more database maintenance/clean up. Especially hcidbinit, this bad boy 😈 will delete any data you have in your engine, which may not be what you want to do.
