Reading files from a Windows drive map?

We have a server on our LAN that contains some insurance files that need to be sent to an other vender via Cloverleaf.  I have mapped the network drive onto the Cloverleaf server, so the Insurance documents are accessible by accessing the R: drive directly (on Cloverleaf srv).   In the thread configuration, I have put “R:” in the directory box, saved the changes and was able to pass the verification test.  However, when I start the thread, I get the following error:

[fset:init:ERR /0:Insurance_835] FindFirstChangeNotification failed: The system cannot find the path specified.

Has anyone seen this error while reading files from a Windows drive map?  Any suggestion…

    Thanks!

My experience has been that the map point has to be the exact location  for this to work.

Are your files located in the root of the share?

Another thought might be terminal services being an issue.  Are you using terminal services to create the share?  I have seen instances where I might map a share but another user couldn’t see it because of the nature of terminal services.  Just some food for thought.

      It was a permissions issue!

Instead of using the mapped drive option, I am accessing the server as you would from Explorer (i.e.  \servernamedirlocation).  At first this did not work, but after I setup the identical username/passwd on the Insurance server as I have setup on the Cloverleaf box, the thread was able to read the files without any errors.  I am sure the permissions had something to do with the errors logged when I was trying to access the mapped drive.

      Thanks for your help!
