QDX Server software install on laptop

Is it possible to install the QDX 5.6 server software on my XP laptop?

I’ll be traveling alot and would like to work on my Xlates, tcl scripts, netconfigs, etc while I’m not connected to our server?

Would we have to purchase an additional license?

  You can install both client and host software from the Windows CD onto your laptop. Then you can do building/configuration locally on your workstation. We do it so we can review configurations and some preliminary building off-line. However, without a license, you aren’t able to run the testing tool or any engine processes.
