QDX 5.6 Network Monitor can’t connect to server

Cloverleaf version 5.6Rev2 on AIX 5.3

Client IDE version 5.6Rev2, JDK:1.5.0_07, running on WinXP

service ip x.x.x.49 for 2 servers with boot ip of x.x.x.51 and x.x.x.52.

problem :

1) when start Client IDE initially with x.x.x.49 gets error of :

java.net.UnknownHostException: No entry in proxy socket for host: ….

( see attachment : ServiceBoot_error.zip )

2) when start Client IDE initially with active resource, x.x.x.52 and then Server->Change into x.x.x.49 … no error.

How to enable Client PC so that it can resolve x.x.x.49 to the active resource without having to go thru’ point 2 ?

Any ideas will be much appreciated.

resolved. 2 things to do :

1)

add in server.ini :

[firewall]

rmi_exported_server_port=”service ip address”

2)

bounce the hostserver.
