I am getting an error on a OB thread whenever I pump in 2000+ more

transactions in one shot via smat. It looks like it reads in all messages and then when it starts the processing of the first one and hits the TPS steam it thows Panic error. I have EO on enable all so i can capture eveything and the tcl code itself does not throw errors since I dont see any puts I have in the code show up in the log. Here is the trace I see in the log when it fails: My question is : What is : assertion ‘0’ failed at PthreadInterface.cpp/688 ??

Does it mean a resource shortage ?? Or do i need a patch on the 5.2 version we

We are also on 5.2 Cloverleaf(R) AIX. We are on the latest patch (not sure I think its Rev2 patch2).

I think what you might be seeing is a resource issue.

I am not sure If I have resent that many messages via SMAT but I resent a fair number and have not experienced that issue. We have sufficient machine that we rarely run into resource issues. I do not know the characteristics of the platform however.

Is 2000 the magic number? Have you tried resending that same amount from a file instead of SMAT. If so, did you get the same result?
