Outbound message queue with status of up

We are experiencing a problem in one of outbound threads.

This thread status change from up to opening and turns to up again in seconds while sending message out, and the OB message left the engine, but the consequent messages will be queuing up with the thread status of up. Any idea?

  Is the receiving side restarting their connection? Do you have any recover procs in place?

  Sounds like you could also have a port conflict somewhere. You may want to check that out as well.

  Gary, are you refering to the reply gen? I do have a resent_ob_msg proc in place, whatesle i need to take care of? Thanks

  When the engine is resending, does it “eventually” get an response after X resends/X time? Are there any firewalls in play?
  
  I have these kinds of issues with VPN’s.
