      Cloverleaf 5.6 rev 2 on Solaris 10

I have routes set up for messages via xlates to our Critical Care system. We have an upgraded Critical Care system running on another server and I want to send the same messages to this server for testing purposes.

Is there a way to route the already xlated messages to the test server or do I need to set up new routes using the same xlates?

          Dave,

You can add the new destination to the existing route(s).

            Jim,

I know I can add to the existing routes but I still have to run the message through the xlate(s). I was looking for a way to send a message which has already been xlated to another thread.

              Dave,

              Oh  I mis-read.

Well one option I suppose would be using Tcl copy the message and OVER it on the outbound thread then route the message on the ‘Route Messsage’ tab of the outbound thread.

Another option (not requiring Tcl) would be to route to a local host thread (outbound) which connects to a localhost thread (inbound) and raw route to the two desinations from the inbound localhost thread.

                Jim,

I thought there may have been a simpler way. Never mind, I’ll just add new routes and run the messages through the xlate(s) again.

                Many thanks,

                Dave

                  Dave,

There may be another way of which I have not thought.

In the situation you describe we just add a route (especially since one of the route will eventually be removed).

                    Jim,

I think that’s what I’m proposing to do.
