newbie question new process creation

i am a  little bit embarassed by this but i cant remember how to create a new process on a site ( eithwer command -line or IDE based ) . Any assitance would be greatly appreciated

Noel,

If you are referring to a process that an interface thread runs within, then this is created/configured on the individual thread within NetConfig.  Then when you save NetConfig, you will get prompted to create the process directory, if it doesn’t exist.  If you don’t specify to create it at the time you save NetConfig, it will get created the first time you start the thread.
