    Hello All:

I am new to HL7 CDA interfaces, so please excuse my ignorance.  I’ve spent a few days reading articles on the internet, this forum, and cloverleaf documentation, but, I am still missing something.

I need to create a translate that converts a HL7 CDA document to HL7 2.1.  I create a package in XML package manager and then tried to test the attached message against it.  It generates the following error:

    Quote:

    Please Wait ……

    Command Issued: hcixmltest -d 1 -f eof -p Intellicure/Schemas CDA E:/quovadx/qdx5.4.1/integrator/fyqdx01test/data/20040930_Consult.xml

    Command output:

    MESSAGE 1

[0:TEST] Error generated during parsing. – Element ‘title’ is not valid for content model: ‘((realmCode, typeId,templateId,id,code, title, effectiveTime, confidentialityCode, languageCode, setId,versionNumber, copyTime, recordTarget, author, dataEnterer, informant, custodian, informationRecipient, legalAuthenticator, authenticator, participant,inFulfillmentOf,documentationOf,relatedDocument, authorization, componentOf),component)’ – Line 573, Col 20

I’m not sure what to do to fix this… any hints?

    Thanks!

These are some times very tricky, come to think of it all the XML types are. Anyway you might check your data file. I

I agree with Ron: take a look at the element ‘code’ in your message. Most likely it is declared as a required field, but it doesn’t exist in your message.
