    Enhancement short description:

Tools popups show on screen1 instead of screen2 where Cloverleaf is running on a multi-monitor client.

    Date:

    08/21/2009

    Operating System:

    Windows

    Version of OS:

    5.2

    Cloverleaf Version:

    5.4.1

    Revision:

    Rev 2

    Enhancement Long Description:

Screen1 is the right monitor.  Screen2 is the left monitor.  See the attached pictures.  On screen2 when I hover over network configurator, the popup description shows up on the left side of screen1.

The popup should show nextto/below the mouse like it does when you run Cloverleaf on screen1.

Sorry for the fuzzy pictures, I had to take them with my cell phone.  Screen prints would not work.  The blob on screen1 actually does say network configurator.

This reminds me of another potential enhancement that might even be the same thing for the development guys and gals.

When you open the IDE in monitor_1 and drag it over to monitor_2 many of the objects that you might launch will initially pop up in monitor_1 requiring you to drag each of them over to monitor_2.

In general it would be nice if all the IDE lanched object(s) were smart enough to pop up at least on the same monitor as the IDE or cursor.

This way when you have one IDE on monitor_1 that you are comparing to an IDE on monitor_2 they won’t keep stacking on top of each other each time you launch something from those IDEs.
