msgId in Xlate?

I want to grab the entire incoming HL7 message INSIDE the Xlate so that I can email it when there is a problem.  Is there an easy way to do this?

Inside the translation I have xlateId but xpm all require a field reference and I want the ‘whole enchilada’.

I’m sure I’m just overlooking something!

    TIA!

You do not have access to the inbound message in Xlate.  One trick I have used is to put a copy in the USERDATA metadata field then access it via xpmmetaget

Another versoin of Charlie’s idea is to use the USERDATA field to set an error condition when it is found in the Xlate, and use a xlt-post TCL proc to process the error.
