We’re unable to restart our monitor daemon. When we issue the hcisitectl -S command to start the daemon, it appears to come up (it shows as running when we do a hcisitectl); however, the monitorShmemFile doesn’t get created – so we can’t see any of our processes. Here’s the output from the hcimonitord log:
05/14/2009 09:20:25 [msi :msi :ERR /0: hcimonitord] msiGlobalInit: lock_sem failed: Interrupted system call
05/14/2009 09:20:25 [prod:prod:ERR /0: hcimonitord] Initialization of global shared memory failed
