If you are not using recovery procs, but have use recovery database checked off on an outbound thread in netconfig, should the message be stored in the recovery database?  I have some test outbound interfaces that are built this way.  If there are pending messages (status is UP), but when I check the recovery database it is empty?  I would think the messages would be stored in the recovery database in state 11.  If the status is OPENING, I do see the messages in the recovery database in state 11.

      Gary,

Per the documentation, once a message is marked for recovery (i.e. ‘Use Recovery Database’ is checked on the inbound thread), it is backed by the recovery database throughout its life in the engine.  So, you should see state 11 messages in the recovery database if there are pending messages.  Is it a timing issue (i.e. you are looking in the recovery database, just as the messages finished processing)?

I found that the recovery database flag on the inbound thread was not checked.  I think that should do it.  Thanks    8)
