Message State in Error Database

Does anyone have a list of the message states used in the error database, along with an “English” translation of what they are?  I’m a bit confused by what they actually mean and if they’re all significant.  I see situations where they appear to be transitory, and I have no pending messages.

If you open up the “Help Contents” on your Cloverleaf GUI and then do a search on “error states”, you will find a list of the error database states and their meaning.

Also, if you see an error in the error database, try searching for the message ID in the log file in the process directory.  Sometimes that will give you more insight into what the error actually means….especially if it is any of the Tcl failure errors.

Thanks for the response.  Maybe I’m a little dense and the definitions are self explanatory, but I was hoping I could find more meaningful information on what those codes mean, what’s behind them, why they happen, are they transient, and do they need to be corrected?
