Has anyone done a MedMined interface? Were just starting an install and I was wondering if there were any implementation surprises.

We’re on 5.2, HP-UX 11

  We implemented interfaces for ADT and Lab Results to MedMined last year. It was a simple install and the vendor did all of the mapping on their side so no translations were required. Our ADT feed is from McKesson STAR product and the Lab Results are from Misys. Our users have since requested additional data from the Lab system on the Microbiology Drug Sensitivities so we are investigating the ability to get that from Misys.

  Same here. We implemented an ADT feed from Series and Lab results from Horizon Lab. Both McKesson products. We also provide census data through an FTP to the Medmined server every 6 hours I think. Very easy installation.

  Thank you for your replies, Lawney and Michael. For a change, it will be pleasant to do an interface without any ‘gotchas’ waiting in ambush.
