Log cycling using parameters in SiteInfo – QDX5.4.1 upwards

Hi,

If I set the parameters in siteInfo for cycling logs and keeping numbered copies when does it kick in? Do I have to stop/start the relevant processes or do I need to restart Cloverleaf?

I have it set up and working but not sure what I did to start it up.
