HL7 Xlate: How to migrate to new message format?

Hi everyone,

on QDX 5.1 I created an Xlate that translates XML to a HL7 2.5 MDM_T02 message. Now I want to use this Xlate on QDX 5.3, but obviously the MDM_T02 message format has changed, so some paths (e.g. for the ORC segment) are no longer valid.

Is there any way to migrate the Xlate to the new paths automatically? Or do I have to go manually through each line and correct it?

  As part of the upgrade process, when you perform a ‘site promotion’, your configurations should be brought forward to the new version (i.e. your variants, xlates, etc).

  many thanks for your help. You pointed me to the helpful documentation. Hcixltconvert claimed to convert the xlates, however the paths for HL7 2.5 MDM_T02 message were still wrong afterwards. I had to adjust them manually. Anyway, everything seems to work now.
