HL7 v2.4 to XML V2.4

Hi ,

I have a few questions about xml and was wonering if anyone can help. I am totally new to XML and have never used it within the interface engine before. I want to convert HL7 Messages that are currently sent by one of our applications on a thread to XML-HL7 Version 2.4and send them to a supplier,  and am not sure how to go about it.

Here is what I have done so far :  

I have received the schemas from from the supplier and one of the schemas is ADT_A01.xsd.

I have created a New Package/Folder Called XMLTest and copied the ADT_A01.xsd to this folder.

I have then compiled the ADT_A01.xsd and it compiled successfully.

It has created hundreds of .ocm files?

I then created a test Xlate and configured it for HL7 2.4 inbound and selected XMLTesturn$hl7-org$v2xml$ADT_A01 output.

I then received a few “failed to load nodes” errors.

What do I do from here.

Do I need to map each individual field e.t.c.?

Can I bulk Copy?

I have included the schema file and hope someone can help.

Any help on this would be much appreciated?

Ray bulkcopy only works between message models that have similar paths (e.g. 0(0).PV1(0).#5).  Delimited HL7 and XML have completely different paths so you will have to map field-by-field.
