ftp temp files in process directory

When using the Fileset-ftp protocol, what temporary files are created in the process directory and what is their purpose?  I want to either prevent the files from being created or exclude from the tape backup….

Keith,

My guess is that these temp files are used to cleanly grab and delete files for processing.  Not sure if you can prevent them from being created but you should not have to back them out.  They only exists while the file is being processed.  As soon as the file is processed by the engine, they are deleted.  Check out the previous forum thread called “HELP: Output file keeps accumulating ???” for more info.
