Email notification tcl proc

Hello,

I received a recent request to begin sending e-mail notifications to one of our departments upon an inpatient admission (A01).

I have attached the tcl proc that I found in our library. Since this is the first time I’ve ever been asked to do this, I began modifying the attached tcl proc.

My questions are:

– where on the inbound thread would I stack this proc?

– if anyone has been asked to do this before, do they have a better proc they wouldn’t mind sharing?

We’re running vers 5.3 on a Windows 2003 server. Thanks.
