      Hi All,

Is there a way to dynamically make the tcl code changes active, without restarting the process each time. I did  “purge caches” at the thread level, but it did not make my new change active.

      Thank you,

You can do this inside the NetMonitor either at the thread (full control) or Process (full control).

          In either case:

           If the proc is new:

              1. click on the ‘reindex’ button

              2. click on the reload button and then in the next dialogue box

select the proc in question from the pull down. If your proc does not  show up in the pull-down then you did not do the previous step.

If the proc already existed and you have just modified it:

               1. just do step 2 above.

            Shibu,

Is the tcl code in an Xlate or a tps proc?  If it is a tps proc, you can perform a ‘reload’ on the affected process from NetMonitor.  ‘Purge Cache’ would only affect tcl code within an Xlate.
