I would like to know if there is a way to determine the ip address of a system sending data to Cloverleaf.

      Two ideas occur to me.

You could exec netstat and parse the output looking for the line that uses your local host.

Or you could change the connection to a multi server connection.  The enigne provides the remote ip address in the DRIVERCTL metadata field.

I also recall from the deep recesses of my somewhat failing memory there is an undocumented variable available within the PDL that you can reference to get the connected system’s IP address.

Notice I said connected and not connecting. That is because I think you don’t get that variable at the point of connection.

Also there is not much you can do as I recall at that point.

Your best bet is to use Multiserver as Greg suggests.
