DB Vista duplicate ID error.

does anyone know what causes this error and how to fix it without a server reboot?  when we get the duplicate database ID error it takes the process down and we can’t bring it back up without rebooting, there must be some way to clear it without having to take everything down?  Thanks a lot,

I belive you can run the “hcilmclear -p PROCESS_NAME” and that should fix you problem.

Hi Jason,

There was a post on this very recently but in summary John is correct but only for Unix based servers. If you have Windows then the Cloverleaf service needs to be stopped and started although I normally do a site cleanup first.

Search the forum for the DB errors as there is plenty of other information there.
