Cross site issue

I’m new to the hospital I’m at but have been doing Cloverleaf since the 1990’s

I just created a new site (oenprd) to move the ADT processes into. I cloned the PROD (oenprd) site that they live in now. I have two problems.

1. Most annoyingly; When I setsite to the new site ‘oenadt’ and the check the showroot, I am in the correct site. However, when I execute  hcisitectl -K it kills the hcimonitord in the site I cloned from, ‘oenprd’. This is baffling me. Anyone have any ideas?
2. I can’t get to the new site in the in the Server and Environment dialog box. It is just not listed. (I cannot run hciserveradmin as there is no X11 server running on the box) This one is an annoyance that I can hopefully work out, but since I was asking a question already…

Has the engine (hciss) or server been restarted since the cloning?

I did cycle the host server and exit the GUI and go back in.

Did the new site get added to the server.ini properly?

No, it is not listed in the environs.

I did not use the -n flag. If I remember how this works, it should have done all of the setup.

hcisiteinit -c oenprd -D sqlite -E 0 -I 0 -R 0 oenadt

I would suspect that’s your primary issue, especially for the GUI. If it’s not there the GUI won’t see it. This also gives an explanation to why other things aren’t working. Why it didn’t add it to your enviorns variable I can’t say. Your command looks pretty straight forward. If everything created correctly (netconfig and whatnot), I would add the site path manually to your server.ini, restart your engine and see if that fixes the issue (it’ll definitely fix the GUI).

As soon as I saw it wasn’t in the server.ini, that was my instinct. I will make a copy of the file and edit it.

There were also a whole bunch of files that weren’t cloned. I copied those over as well. I am now able to maintain it. Thanks for your help!
