  Is there a file that can be edited to correct the info that pops up when you click the little “logo” in the bottom right corner of the GUI? Or will there be a “patch” to correct this?

  The contact information will be updated in 5.7. If you want to change it in your existing release please use the branding as Tim indicates. I think the only file that applies is on the client – not the server:
