Cloverleaf and MSMQ

Hi,

Has anyone written an interface using Microsofts MSMQ as the inbound feeder into a Cloverleaf thread?

iSOFT use MSMQ but have their own integration engine built on MSMQ for queue management. We were just exploring Cloverleaf as an alternative but can’t if Cloverleaf is unable to support MSMQ.

Any thoughts?

  I don’t believe that MSMQ has any hooks for non MS products!

  When we were testing iSoft’s clinical manager application before an upgrade (probably a few years ago now), we found that the messages within MSMQ were unrecoverable if it crashed with large queues.

  From listening to conversations around me MSMQ has an upper size limit – This may have been the cause of your problem.
