Change Cloverleaf version script in UNIX

I’m sure this is a no-brainer for many!  I am running 5.5, Rev 1 on an AIX box.  I installed 5.6 so now when I log in, I’m at 5.6.

I wrote a script to change to 5.5 but it doesn’t work.  Any ideas would be helpful!

It must be running the script in a child process or something, since the showroot inside the script shows it changed.  But the showroot at the command prompt, shows no change.

devsite script contains:

setroot /hci/quovadx/qdx5.5/integrator

setsite dev55

showroot

: showroot

HCI root is /hci/quovadx/qdx5.6/integrator

HCI site is dev56

execution:

:devsite  

HCI root is /hci/quovadx/qdx5.5/integrator

HCI site is dev55

: showroot

HCI root is /hci/quovadx/qdx5.6/integrator

HCI site is dev56
