Best to use a static route?

We are in the process of setting up our initial threads in Cloverleaf.  We have

a single source for our ADT messages [Cerner] and multiple destinations.  Is it best to use a static route, or maybe a wild card route.  

We want to make sure if one xlate out of the many fails, that the message will get sent to the others.

For what it’s worth – I prefer to use wild card routing. I’d rather just send the messages that the specific receiver wants, than to use static routing, and have to kill messages that are not desired.
