I’m recreate all the alerts I had from 5.3 most of those were scripts.

I’m wondering if anyone has figured out if there is a way to send an All-clear type of message.

What I mean is I have a thread that starts alerting becuase the outbound queue is above 100.  It starts sending alerts every 15 minutes.

But when the remote system fixes it’s issue and the count drops to zero.

Is there a way to send an email saying this alert is now cleared.

          Hi John

There are several ways to accomplish what you want, but it could be a annoying.

Set up another alert to notify when it reaches a desired number that you would consider ALL CLEAR, but it will alert each and every time the desired number is reached.

          Or

You could send a manual email to the Alerted parties that it is all clear, much easier.

          Or

Stop Alerting every 15 mins, I have found maybe once or twice is enough to let the vendor know about their interface being down.

There is a new feature that allows you to send an alert a certain number of times for a certain number of minutes try that one I found it works as well.

          I hope this helps

          mike
