I set up an alert a few months ago that will send out an email if there are no messages sent within a 30 minute time frame. I tested this out in both our test and production environments. I got the alert to fire correctly in both of the environments. This past weekend there was no traffic on the particular thread for over 5 hours and no emails were sent. I took a look at the alert.log file and saw that the alert did fire off correctly, but none of the intended recipients received any emails. Has anyone ever came across this issue?

      TIA,

      Carl Tosi

As Cloverleaf fires the alert, this is mostly a problem in the email server, which did not forward the message to the recipients. I would suggest to look at the email server logs.

            Hi Carl,

I’ve had issues in the past with our Cloverleaf 19.1 system thinking it has sent the email, but in reality it failed at the email server point.

I was able to diagnose this by looking in the <process_name>.log file located at %HCISITEDIR%\exec\processes\<process_name>

In that file I was getting instances of “RESPONSE: 452 Insufficient disk space” from the server, but that was the only indication that the email failed.

I’m not sure if this is exactly the same issue you’re having, but I felt it worth mentioning my experience and pointing out that error log file.

Hope you get to the bottom of this one.

            Cheers
