Alert Configuration

Hi all,

I’m currently tweaking our alerts to try and get rid of the last of our false alarms.  I have a quick question on how best to do this.

I have an alert that I want to fire from Mon – Fri, 8:30am – 8pm.

On the Alert Time Window, I’m not entirely sure what I need to fill in for the minutes to make it start at 8:30am and end at 8pm.

Currently I have:

Seconds = *

Minutes = 30

Hours = 8-20

Days = *

Months = *

Weekdays = 1-5

Will this do what I’m looking for?

What you have will fire every hour at half past the hour and running every second for one minute from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm, i.e., 8:30 am, 9:30 am, …, 8:30 pm.

Thanks Robert, I’ll give that a try!  It all makes sense, I was just hoping I could do it with one alert instead of two.
